Let's be honest...this past school year was ...well...different. In light of COVID, remote learning, and restirictions, this summer should be too! The needs of our learners is different especially now, so offer them a different approach to learning with their peers. Be proactive this summer with our summer workshops and activities.

DETAILS & PRICING: All of our signature workshops meet for 1.5 hours, 2x per week for a total 3-weeks. Offered in July and August, our workshops combine professional instruction, guided practice, independant practice, and socialization. Each is intentionally designed to reinforce the skills of the past school year and preview what's to come in the Fall. All materials are included but missed classes cannot be rescheduled.

Workshop Descriptions:

Read On
Read On is a phonics and reading readiness workshop ideal for learners in Grades K, 1, & 2.
Key Focus Areas: Letter recognition, consonant & vowel sounds, blends, decoding, and fluency.
Meets: Tues./Thurs 1:00pm-2:30pm
Fraction Fun is a Fractions for mastery workshop. Ideal but not limited to learners in grades, 3,4, & 5.
Key Focus Areas: Conceptualizing Fractions, adding, subtracting, multiplying, & dividing fractions, comparing, & reducing.
Meets: Mon/Thurs 11am-12:30pm


Fit-4-Algebra is a regents based Algebra review workshop. Ideal for learners in grades 7,8, and 9.
Key Focus Areas: real numbers, polynomials, rational numbers, reasoning with equations, expressing with equations.
Meets: Tues/Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm
How-2-Solve is a how to of the dreaded mutli-step word problem workshop! Developed by popular demand, How-2-Solve is ideal but not limited to learners 4,5,6, & 7.
Key Areas of Focus: Multi-step word problems, key word identification, mapping strategies, reasonability, and how to check your work.
Meets: Wed/Fri 4:00-5:30pm


Sum it Up is a Basic Arithmetic and comprehension workshop. Ideal but not limited to learners grades 1,2, & 3.
Key Focus Areas: Addition, Subtraction, and overall comprehension. Addition & Subtration Facts, borrowing, carrying-over, place-value, money doubles, word-problems.
Meets: Tues/Thurs 3:00-4:30pm
Geometry is a regents based workshop ideal for learners grades 9,10,11, taking an August regents or want to get ahead of the pack upon completing Algebra.
Key Focus Areas: triangle proofs, congruence, circles, geometric measurements and dimensions, expressing geometric properties with expressions.
Meets: Mon/Thurs 3:00-4:30pm


Reading Warriors is a book club workshop that we encourage every learner participate regardless of age & grade beginning in 3rd. As a judgment-free zone, all are welcome!
Key Focus Areas: reading aloud, reading for understanding, comprehension, characterization, summarizing, fluency, vocabulary development.
Meets: Tues/Thurs 3:00-4:30pm
